Laura Heng, who is hard of hearing, seems like your average university student who's more into fun than lectures until you realize her friendly demeanor hides some dark secrets and even darker tendencies., 

Having visual impairment has not stopped Siti from doing the things she wants. She's an avid hiker & tiktoker who tops her classes, and is popular with her peers and lecturers, That's until she messes up big time. Then, before anyone can figure out why, she disappears. 

Good friends with both Siti and Laura, Diya gets caught between the two in the aftermath of Siti's screw up. She's sweet but sharp enough to suspect there's far more to Siti's disappearance than meets the eye.

Michael, a fellow student at the same university, hangs out with the three women but he isn't a fan of Laura whom he considers selfish and spoilt.

Laura files a report with her at the police post informing her that Siti is trapped in an abandoned haunted village in Dempsey forest. 

Arun is called in to investigate the report that Siti is trapped in Dempsey forest. A tough but a fair officer, he is skeptical about the veracity of the report but chooses to keep an open mind.
